We cannot expect a monotheistic, singular God to be loving if he existed in loneliness before creation. Creation then is something he needs to find love. There is no mercy, forgiveness, or free will where there is no Trinity. There is no beauty of holiness where there is no Trinity. There is no safety from wrath where God is not first LOVE. But because our God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three and eternally one, then we never have to doubt His love for us. Here is a stake in ground that declares, "There is no God like our God."
